The WU STYLE was designed for therapeutic and rehabilitative effects, and like Chi Gung generally, is adaptable to any level of ability. It is a relatively recent form, just 4 generations old, although all forms have the advantage of centuries of background historical development.

The 16 move Short Form can be learned in about 8 hours, at least rudimentarily. The Commencement (one move in four parts) can be learned well in about one hour. There is more than one Wu Short Form; this one was developed by lineage holder Bruce Frantzis in 1986. A demonstration of it can be seen here:
